Her Story
Since establishing her law practice in 2003, Maître Nadia Myers has dedicated her career to helping families navigate the complex and often emotionally challenging aspects of Family Law in Montreal and various jurisdictions of the Province of Quebec.
Her journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, which provided her with a strong foundation in understanding the societal and governmental structures that influence our legal system. She went on to earn her Law Degree from Université de Montréal, where she developed a passion for Family Law and the opportunity it provides to help people through difficult times in their lives and transitions.
She obtained her license from the Quebec Bar in 2000, marking the beginning of a rewarding legal career dedicated to serving clients with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. She is among the 20% of Attorneys who litigate before the Courts, including the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal, while also maintaining a strong focus on mediation. This balanced approach allows her to prioritize conflict resolution through mediation, instead of litigation, whenever possible, helping clients and their families to avoid the emotional and financial burdens of prolonged litigation.
As a proud member of the Montreal Bar, Association des Avocats et Avocates en Droit Familial du Quebec (AAADFQ) (Association of Family Law Lawyers of Quebec), the Lord Reading Law Society, and the English-Speaking Section of the Montreal Bar (ESS), Maître Nadia Myers maintains strong connections with the legal community while staying current with the latest developments in Family Law.
Fluently bilingual in English and French, with certain skills in Spanish and Italian, she is able to serve a diverse client base across Quebec, throughout Canada, and internationally - ensuring clear communication and understanding during what can be the most challenging times in her clients’ lives.
